Suggestions Requested: Transition from SHURE SE535 Special Edition to Portable Closed-Back Headphone

My portable gear is simple-a Sony A-Series Walkman (data is .wav) and Shure SE535 Special Edition.  I'm interested in making the transition to a portable closed-back headphone, and would like to request suggestions based on personal experience.

I'm looking for a portable closed-back headphone that offers the same (or similar) sound characteristics as the Shure SE535 Special Edition (or standard SE535).

My inquiry must be terribly difficult.

In any case, ventured out to a local electronics shop yesterday with my Sony A-Series Walkman and listened to what was available.  HP out, .wav files, R&B (Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz).

SQ

LP2 > M-80 > P5 > Momentum > MDR-1R > HD 25-1 II > K550 > Beats pro > INSPIRATION

The result above does not serve as an answer to my initial inquiry, but simply the order of enjoyment.  In comparison, the LP2s offer something completely different and do react very well to EQing.

Now simply need to try the M-100.

The Sony MA900, Audio Technica ES10, DT1350 and Pro900 are close to SE535 in term of soundquality with great midrange details.

Thanks for your feedback.  I did try the DT1350, but due to its impedance of 80 ohms, my walkman had a difficult time driving it.  I will look into the others.

Had the opportunity to try the V-Moda LP, LP2, M-80 and M-100.

Fell in love with the M-100.

I was set on the M-100, but found out about the AKG K267.

Will hold off.
