That's with the XBA-30's. For what I know, Sony simply stuffed a different, thicker material into the nozzle. Thus filtering out some frequencies. I have the original XBA-3's and performed a little mod on them. I replaced the material inside the nozzle with a more dense material, and the treble sounds a little less metallic.

standard warranty of 1 year for XBA. The H1 was underwhelming for you, huh? Well..the XBA-30 was definitely underwhelming for me in the bass area. I prefer the FXT90's, and in reality, the JVC's have better fuller sound, are equal in detail and resolution, and with better textured bass and treble. This from a dual dynamic v.s a triple armature.

the cable is one of the slight "improvements" made from the XBA-3. It's that PCOCC cable, and the 3's have a slightly lesser quality OFC Litz cable.

yes I realized it soon enough so i am getting gr07 mk2 and have returneduhe h1 and took wakkman e-474 instead.

even sony mh-1 which I got as an oem bundle without box and accessories for 30$(100% legit) blows it out of water

So now  Gandasaputra is the fourth head-fi'er to by iem's from me. He bought my XBA-30's, and recieved them today. So along with roy_jones, who bought my IE800's, I'm looking forward to hearing about his impressions on the 30's? My fit issues caused by my wonky left ear canal sure has helped a lot of other people score some top flight audio gear. :)

how much did u sell ur ie800 for btw??

$600.00. Same as I paid. Made no profit, but that's ok. Sometimes you don't need to. Just recoup, and I did.

Right this moment I'm enjoying my freshly EQ'd UE 700's on my iphone 5. With the EQ and Comply olives, then are singing to me critically like never before.

how are miles davis??

they went for 98$ recently, and do they carry lifetime warranty too?

yes they do carry that warranty, and I love owning my trumpets. The sound is world class. There really is nothing WRONG with the sound signature of the Trumpets. Joker didn't rate them the highest of all the Monster IEM's for no reason. They have great articulation and detail/Instrument separation, and the bass is strong, but not as intruding as you'd think. My fiance is the one who uses them, because fit is an issue with me. They are micro drivers, and very tiny. So they might fit loosely with big ear canals like mine, but I wouldn't trade them or sell them. I love holding them, because they feel so regal in your fingers, and the trumpet valves are fun to play with, and they sound world class, so at $98.00, they are a  STEAL!
