OP is in 8th grade so what he did was understandable. Give him a few more years and he will realize how inappropriate his action was.
If people like their Beats, then so be it. What is the big deal about that? I don't ever try to lecture people about what I know unless they truly want to learn about it. That's not being helpful, that's being a snob.
