well ..been waiting to the pipeline cable and finally got it . i was kinda skeptic about the "cable changing audio" aspect..especially when its so highly debated.

i gotta say i am a believer now . i didnt expect much from this cheap although well made cable to being with , but i can indeed notice the difference ( even if its just a smidge ) in the soundstage.
if i can put it to words it gives you a more studio feeling to the music.

so i think that as soon as i have some money laid around i will probably try a silver one . i am a clarity fanatic after all :)

For an affordable aftermarket cable that requires no modding, the Auvio is a very fun and engaging option.

Right now, I'm listening to Willie Nelson's "Yesterday's Wine" with the Auvio [and Mikros 90 Spacey Bassy mod] and it sounds vibrant, tight and snappy.

"Whiskey River" . . .  Wow!  Willie's a good picker!

I a/b-ed the Mikros 90 [Stock Pair #3--my favorite stock pair] w/Teds UPOCC silver cable and the K812 with stock cable last night.

The Mikros 90 were on my head for the better part of the evening.  They are a special set of cans indeed!

"Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain" sounds really nice, too.

rinki,

What is "the right direction" for you?

well ..all i like for bass is it to be accurate and detailed ..if any since i am more into whats called "epic music" i am more a clarity + treble guy.

so

i just want more clarity . i got a xiaomi pistons that give that more clarity but they are of course no match for the mikros regarding bass stuff and soundstage.
