( i had never modded any cans then...didnt dare open up the screws..lol )

Ha! Mr Mod didn't modify his T50RP's! Blasphemy lol! The sole purpose of the 50's is to be modded from mediocre stock phones to awesomesauce. Take it from the Paradoxes, BMF's, Mad dogs, Alpha Dogs and Nickerfied ones (my variant) etc.. them planar magnetic drivers are nice. Nothing "loose" about them once modified, that's for sure :-)

i am still doubtful about the slammmm n bite on the bass for the T50RP variants...

heard the MD...very very doubtful...it has got its limits..

i know it is fast and all that...but but but..

maybe if some stronger magnets..or corkchops are added..shruggggs.

enjoying the Mikros now...on my E18..thru the McAir...lovely.

sweeeeping piano music by Raul Di Blasio...enjoy :P

No.  I have a big head, both physically and figuratively.

So after trying four seperate phones on my computer I've figured out that the source is to blame. Every set I've tried ended up with a bit of sibilance (or more than a bit) at any decent volume. I think I might try either getting an E7 or a hifimediy sabre dac.

you guys have it easy )...still struggling to find a descent cable . i tried finding a cable that would not require any modification ( a descent one ) . but basically failed .

can any one who modded their phones or the cable post a picture of it ? ( as for the cable its gonna probably be the pipeline that was suggested earlier ) .

i am also asking for a modded headphone exit screen shot if any has it since i think in the long run its gonna make my life easier regarding cable choices

I especially have it easy: I like the stock cable the best :D

well ..and this is me so its subjective . i got 2 cables with my headphones ( and thanks to zomby :) ) . so i notice the variation .

i also need a longer cable anyway .  so there is my problem .

Thanks for the HD25 pad option, going to try out a couple with those.

Plus some inner mod tweaks I  hope to get some decent extra dimensionality( more than normal :beerchug: )

Any more bass though would be too much so decals staying intact.

Pataburd I see you stuck with the pro2500's , nice to see. Me too.

I saw some in person the other yesterday, so worthy are they? Maybe it's time to go for a drive.

Isn't the auvio cable I got for the Nickerfied T50RP's the one? Actually, I have just plugged it in (it fit) and am now giving it a whirl!

That's a V-moda grey one. Unless you got something new.
