I didn't understand this. Correct me if I'm wrong but the sansa's dac and amp is being used affecting the sound in your setup, right?. I was asking how the e18 would sound by itself paired with the Mikros without something else affecting the sound. For example usb out to the e18 from a phone or the e18 used as a usb dac from my pc..... I plan to use the e18 with my nexus 5(with cyanogenmod 11).

plugged my "unopened" mikros into the audiogd amp...

Hans Zimmer was just scintillating, the bass/subbass weight thru some passages shocked me still.

* maybe it is the corkchop..??

u guys must pick up a Michael Bolton cd n listen thru the mikros...sheezzz

I then read a post of someone having this problem and a temporal fix is to only have the jack plugged in 70-80%. I did that and voila!, it's sounding as it should! I'm wondering if I should get another cable :S

Btw I find this headphone really comfortable!!!

Need to burn these babies in.

They already sound excellent though!

Nice! How would it sound without the sansa?

When I first got mine, I thought something was wrong with them. Turned out I just hadn't plugged them in far enough. Goofy me, and goofy jacks!

As far as burning is, the consensus is that the improve greatly after 75 hours or so. So be patient and burn baby burn!

Cool! I'm looking forward to getting my fill of T51P/DT1350 listening, and then coming back and comparing to the 90's only to realize that the 90's are all that I need or want. I'll then be able to send those beyers back, and will then of course start obsessing about something else... how about them Senn Amperior aluminums??? And around and around we'll go!

Thanks. I'm not really up to speed on the different models etc, but were they the aluminum ones? (maybe that's all there is):

Cool pics!

Another faster way to stretch them is to grab the by both sides and bend them until you think they're gonna break! (seriously, that's what I do).

chandy...do u have any extention cable lying around from your previous/other cans?

if u do, try connecting the stockMikros cable onto the extention cable...n give it a listen.

see if u get any "better" sound ..
