So they fit the M90's well and don't look awkward? They're pretty cheap so I may buy a pair from Amazon.

Third party QC3 and Beats or official? Which model of beats pads?

Decide for yourself.  The QC3 cover Mikros Foam sound they best so far though.  The Beats pads definitely add some bass...unsurprisingly.

No.  The Beats' may be more comfortable... at least initially.

I had to order some patient gowns for a visceral diagnosis class so I got a pair of the official Beats replacement ear pads for $9.08 is black with free shipping. I love Amazon Prime.

What does this mean?  :confused_face_2:

I haven't worn them for long, but for the short amount of time that I have worn them, they have been comfortable. Not fair since I haven't worn them very long.

THEY JUST ARRIVED. Have to admit they don't sound THAT good out of the box, looks like i will let them burn in for a bit :P

Mine sounded bad out of the box. Not OK, just bad.

are u inserting the longish plug into the headfone, and not the right angled plug?

==========

musing....

to be honest, i havent had much use for the alphapads since i gotten them half a year ago.

It didnt get on well with the D7k, or the other cans i hv around then..or i tot so.

Last nite, the alphapads popped off the Mikros, the foamtape i bought suckks..One dollar low quality stuff..

it was just sticky WET...not STICKINGwet. :P

Frustrated n so out of curiosity, i slapped it onto the dt770/600ohm (corkchop inplanted recently)

which was lying invitingly on the sofa..turn on the music...

geez, the sound was like..."projected out/outside of the enclosed can "

if u have a pair of dusty beyer770 lying around...try it...corkchops n alphapads.

==========

quick impressions, since we are family here :)

received a pair of Creative Auvarna GOLD from my cousin,

comes with bluetooth, and it can run on  wire when the battery runs dry.

supercomfy on the head, memory foam, deep cups, not heavy..v easy to pair with my android n ipad.

human voice on this can is very real-istic, musically the sound reminded me of the KEF500..

that open big easy sound...bass impact adequate, not tightslamming.

should be good for movies...wait, wait...

listening to MISSION IMPOSSIBLE now..hmmm the bass DO have some impact...at least on this soundtrack :)

CrouchingTigerHiddenIguana sounds delicious too.

This is my 2nd experience w noice cancelling bluetooth can, think i prefer this to the UE9000.

You are the first one to report this problem.   Keep experimenting...and I hope you solve the problem.  If not, send them back for a new pair.

Ok, so now I am listening to St. Germain's album Tourist (Jazzy House). 256 aac straight out of ITunes on my laptop (not sure of sound card but it has built in JBL speakers and Dolby). Whoever thinks mikros is missing bass needs to check it out. smily_headphones1.gif Latin Note's vibraphone, kick and congas are slammin'!

Whoever thinks the Mikros is missing bass need to have their head examined.

If they get a clean bill of health from the doctor, then they need to have a talk with Lorspeaker and he will show them the way of the mod.
