The stock Logans cable doesn't seem to work with them for some strange reason, probably due to the apple mic but was able to get it to work after i plug another male to female extension cable in. :happy_face1:

Lol - just found that out with mine as well!

Sounds like magic mushrooms or something (ie something is definitely wrong lol!)

Must have something to do with the 4-hole Mikros plug or something...

Ha! Too many extenders... too much crap! I'm listening to my reversed Mikros now, and due mainly to my slowwwwwwness, I  couldn't care less that they are reversed... perfect seal and no movement at all. Awesome!

FiiO amps is pretty budget-fi sounding sadly but the E17 sure is sexy and "portable" cuz their new amps is just FREAKEN MASSIVE same goes for the C5 as well. God i want a Leckerton as well but kinda spendy GRRR!!! : P

I have had the BH as well as the Fiio's I mentioned.  I still like the C5 better than all of them. The C5 has the same footprint as iPod Classic, so together they are not as portable as I would like, but still not too bad.  I really like that the C5 is neutral as it does not detract from the qualities that make the Mikros so sweeeeeet on the old ears.

Alright so I have been listening to it for the last 30 mins while driving to work. My first impressions was not a "wow". Yup it didn't Wow me at first impression, I thought it sounded clean but a bit warm at the same time. There is definitely enough bass to satisfy me, but i also felt that the soundstage was there but it was close to nothing, the details were also there but not as detailed and clean as some of my other gears. My ears also get quite fatigued with the highes they produce.

I found the fit to be quite alright, didn't have to wear it backwards or anything Lol. The clamping force is quite strong and it does hurt my ear quite a bit as it was pushing against my glasses.

For some reason, I felt the left ear was louder than the right, don't know if it's an imbalance problem or a fit problem.

Overall, at this stage, I'm not unhappy about this purchase since I didn't pay that much for it. Howeve, unlike some others here i don't think I would buy another pair (even if they are very very cheap).

Anyways, it's still too early to really judge their sound quality since they hhaven't really been burned in yet. Maybe I was too hyped up by this thread so my expectation was too high.. Lol

Burn in is the key here. They need a lot, maybe not K70x levels but a lot. Give it 120 hours with music, pink noise, and white noise. The brightness subsides to from bright!! to just sort of bright and soundstage becomes uncongested.

Hey guys, I've bought the Martin Logan, and I can say only that first they leave me without speech.. Sooo different from my JVC S400!!! Also from Shure SE215..
Afer burn-in and a lot of hours I can say that I'm in love with Mikros 90!! They are excellent, in all the frequency range. smily_headphones1.gif
Lovely sub-bass, creamy mids and wonderful highs!!! Now I can say that I'm enjoying music like it has to be!!
Thank you all for suggesting!

But now I've a problem! The clip seems not to give them all what deserves.. Do you suggest me a portable amp? Or I need a new DAP?

And if you know a IEM that have the quality and the sound signature like Mikros 90, you would make me very happy! Now I can't live with Shure SE215, they have too mid bass, and recessed highs.. I need something with lovely sub-bass like Mikros, and great extension in highs too!! There is something in the price range <100 USD?

Thanks.

Yeah 30 mins was all I have time for it so far today. That's why I said they might need a bit more burn in time before I can really judge it Lol biggrin.gif
