Really?    I'm glad to hear you fixed the issue.

That is why I never changed the cable; it sounds pretty good and the controls are convenient.

Oh yeah. Well documented in this thread too lol.

I had to do this to the left driver hole to even it out with the right driver:

I then covered it (and the right hole) with the magical elastoplast material as shown below (in addition to some magical angel hair in the cups) to still allow for more bass and a fuller sound than stock (at least I think! I won't know for sure until I get my 2nd stock pair on my head to compare with).

True but not all amps will make them sound better though, cuz the E17 hooked onto my ipod nano sounds pretty crappy while it just sounds so much more "right" off of my venturecraft go-dap amp. LoL

I am just glad i got the sources to roll on these Logans cuz i would be pissed as well if my sauces were limited cuz some daps/amp REALLY don't do these justice.

I was like meng these Logans sounds like crap while i was source rollin' them last night. haha

I agree...iPad is a good source with the Mikros.  I most often use mine with my iPod Classic/JDS C5 combo...sweet...very sweet.  The C5 is very neutral to my ears and allows the clarity of the Mikros to really come through.  I tried them with my Fiio E7 and E11...no comparison to the C5...I will be selling my Fiio's.

^ Fufufufufufufufufufufufufufu!!! Damn you're making me wanna pick up a C5 BAD cuz the damn E17 amp just don't cut it and that was why i sold them the 1st tyme but got them again cuz i was able to get a sweet deal on them. haha

FiiO amps is pretty budget-fi sounding sadly but the E17 sure is sexy and "portable" cuz their new amps is just FREAKEN MASSIVE same goes for the C5 as well. God i want a Leckerton as well but kinda spendy GRRR!!! : P

Wonderful clarity. Wonderful SQ. And when paired with the C&C BH amp, it's an amazing combo. The 90's sound incredible off of them (as do many of my headphones and all of my iems).

This post by H20 got me hooked:

And here are some more posts relating to clarity (from the X3 thread):
