I just listened to "California Girls" and I've never heard it sound beautiful before. M90 plays this sort of bright-tilted pop rock so very well. The chilly New York night needs a little sunshine.

unopened hole...

thinfoam under driver.....

corkchops on base

( this foto shows leather under the driver..which i have since replaced with thin foam ..

the leather adds a tad more brightness  on an already bright STOCK can with unopened hole)

My Pipeline ET-4 audio cable has finally arrived. Got it from the good guys over at Buywireless /via Amazon.

Looks pretty small. Hopefully i won't have to mod it at all.

I had to go travelling for a few days. Involved ferry trips etc. I usually never take headphones and always take iems, but the 90's inspired me to try them out. The small size of the case is one of the cool things about them. And I didn't feel self-conscious wearing them. Or when hanging them around the neck, they didn't look too goofy. The isolation was great. And of course the sound emanating from them made me very happy. The Mikros 90's passed my mobility test with flying colours! :)

Yeah,

Very detailed and airy sound with crystal highs, neutral midrange with deep accurate bass. A little bit microphonic to my taste but still a very good alternative to the stock cable that you have.

Did you have to mod the cable to fit it?

I read that it's stiff and bears noise. angry_face.gif

I'm thinking of the V-Moda one instead.

Please educate us about this.

When it comes to the Pipeline audio cables (e.g ET-4 and ET-1) most of the versions need to be modded (you can PM PredatorZ for assistance). Some, however, are sized pretty well.

Lors...if you like Bob Baldwin, I highly recommend this album.

We can still call them albums, can't we?

I haven't listened to it, but your comment made me check.  My v-moda cable fits snuggly, but appears to make a solid connection, I'll verify it later if you like.  I don't have particularly good ears, or eyes, or a number of things, so I can't tell you the sonic differences between the stock and the v-moda.

My vmoda cables work perfectly on my M90, I have an android phone switched the first day and have not looked back.
