oh.. i meant the stuff covering the outside of the headphone... sorry to dissapoint you lol im bad at wording things

its nothing big at all, i just think its wierd that its different from the left cup because they should be the same

the part where the cup meets the headband.

More wrinkles than there are on the left cup!

A normal headphone driver actually has felt covered "ports" all around it,
So there is no suction.
This unit is totally sealed front and back, with exception of... THE HOLE...

ohh... when i put them on again, i realize when i flip the headphones backward it's still the right that has a suction. Moved all the hair out of my left ear and now the suction is there too. Cool!

Think A LOT of the on-ear pads that are used for other cans might fit these Logans but that doesn't really increase the comfort for me since it's still on-ears. LoL

Holy crap. Whichever pads I have on them now sounds friggin' great (combined with the angel hair/elastoplast mods). Wow. I think they are more comfy as well, so bonus!

The pads on there are some that I got for the jvc s500. Can't remember what they were. Had two sets - one velour (they didn't sound good at all on the 90's) and the ones that are on the 90's now which sound great.

Above the 90's is a Koss DJ100 pad (too large) and over on the left is an HM5 pad (waayyy too large).

Anyway Sf, thanks for getting me to try different pads!

Nevermind...I can't find them for sale anywhere.

Note the wait time.

we are convening an emergency committee meeting to look into this crinkled fabric fiasco....

wait for our advice. Most likely we will need u to burn that stuff and test its flame retardant quality b4 we lodge a claim.

^ Don't think those are ATH WS55 pads since those are more oval in shape, most likely the ATH ES7 aftermarket pads, since those were commonly recommended for those JVC S500s. The ATH WS55 pads came at the very end of that thread and i doubt Masa' WAYNE got those.

I don't wanna take my godly modded S500s apart but since you have all the modding materials it might just work.

If it works like the S500s, then these will literally be full size cans with CRAZY nice comfort as well as depth to the pads. :L3000:

Like so.....

I have good a feeling about this!!! :veryevil:

Frustrating us Canadians can't get in on this deal.  It's 50% more for these headphones in Canada than the US.

Everyone outside of the US pays more for these, you know. You're going to be a very unhappy person if the fact that someone can get a better deal than you prevents you from buying things. The price is still well under MSRP and they're still well worth what you pay for them.

I was heavily researching theses and was actually about to buy them until i heard all theses issues with the headband unable to extend properly, serious fit issues, insane burn in time and i was not crazy with the design to begin with ,( sound close to gr07 be which i already have--> too repetitive)

Seem tedious to return them if they have all theses issues,

Decided im Going with the vmoda xs that releasing in a week. I may come back to buy a set of mikros down the road. Need a bit more bass in my music and that design in white pearl is to die for

What issues?  A couple of people reported a problem, but the vast majority of owners do not have headband issues.  What serious fit issues?    Insane burn in time?  You can still use them, you know.  It's not like pataburd or Lorspeaker is going to come into your house and smack you in the head if you listen to them before they are properly burned in.

Sounds like you decided that Vmoda was a better option for you, which is perfectly okay.   As a matter of fact, it's a good thing that you settled on the Vmodas since you would probably nitpick the Mikros to dead and post about your dissatisfaction until you finally returned them and bought the model you really wanted in the first place.
