Hopefully a mod will be by to erase this!

It's an everything goes thread so whining is all good too. I myself am a profound whiner and love to whine and complain - I love being negative and projecting hate. Keep it up man we can be a good team.

However, don't worry about the signal to noise ratio as some of the trolls are pretty good guys too and we have SFWALCER writing a 50 page summary essay on this thread to put up into the first post on this thread so when we have that, newcomers don't have to read through all the ******** if they don't find it entertaining.

Still got the foam stuff on the driver (from one of Lors mods), and also the all important elastoplast fabric covering the hole:

Haven't had much chance to listen yet.

HOLD ON!!!

I have some REAL Lamb's Wool to try--LOTS of it, if you modders want to give it a whirl!!

That way you can stay both ORGANIC and GREEN.

ERIN GO BRAGH!!!

If the pads tend to flip forward--feels like they are going to jump off my ears, I compensate by tilting the headband slightly backward.

I have four pairs up-and-running right now, and have this particular problem with two of them.

Not sure if it's leftover spring torsion in the tubular bands or the way the memory foam is packed/offset  in the respective pads.  But it is a pain.

Just bought bhazard's Mikros 90 (stock).

He probably won't be posting here anymore--I'm guessing.

His MLs only had 40 hours on them, so nowhere near broken in yet.

Have been running them over the last few days, and noticing the midrange opening up, along with the BASS.

Too bad he'll never hear how fine these headphones really are .  .  .

He gave up too soon!

Moral of story:

BE PATIENT WHILE YOUR MIKROS 90 SETTLE DOWN.

GIVE THEM ABOUT 200 HOURS before making any definitive judgments.

I just ran by the campus store (blue books....five page notebooks required for tests...university *shrug*) and took a listen to the SkullCandy Hesh (only about $15 difference from the ML90's) and I swore they must have been broken. The aviators beside them were better, but for their price they really don't get close to the ML90's. The price tag for the ML90's is rather amazing, changing as much as $30 in a matter of hours. Mine are still "young" (<20hrs) but they best mostly every headphone I've heard. Full disclosure though, I've not heard anything more expensive than the M80's I was previously talking about. The sound distribution really amazes me for a "portable" set.

Obligatory gif/ funny picture

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I was looking for cats with headphones......this is what I found
