was walking up the stairs and this wild idea dropped in thru my skull...

how about...

stuffing a piece of COMPLY into the left ear...

whenever u put on the Mikros..????

jokes aside..

hey u mean the mids n highs are still louder on your left channel after doing what wayne did???

if this is true...that the mids n highs are produced above the driver...

then probably your left driver is getting more JUICE than the right driver...

maybe there is some soldering inconsistency in your CABLE?

u have another cable to test???

Still stock (except cable)...still enjoying these phones, and still enjoying the daily trip through the asylum that is this thread.  No whining here.  May join the modding ranks if the USPS ever decides to deliver Mikros #2.  For now, satisfied with Mikros #1 au naturale.  Right now, listening to some live tracks: "Dark Star" from Live Dead!, "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" from Allman Bros. Live at Fillmore. The Who Live at Leeds, etc.  The Mikros really shine on well recorded live tracks.

Get yourself over to W-Mart...$6 3 ft Belkin cable.  Sounds comparable to stock to me...I picked it up because I use the Mikros with C5 amp...no need for in line controls.

Well the whole point would be to see if this pair's imbalance is due to the cabling. Which I really doubt tbh.
