Disagreed. Koss KSC-75 is definitely.

So @pataburd and @Lorspeaker what should I put in the cup to resemble the circuit board and possibly balance the channels?

Remember, the one WITH the circuit board has MORE bass/mids/treble than the right WITHOUT it.

After having all the Koss portable versions, I disagree. For my $59 vs. the $14.95 I paid for the KSC75, the 90 sound quality, comfort/ease of putting on, accessories, packaging, detachable cable, and build quality still represents a better value no doubt.

Since you seem to have the same issues that I had, have you tried what I did?

It's a pretty subjective thing. All I can say is that both are giant killers imo. Hopefully I'll be adding my modded T50RP's into that equation as well.

Either way, I would be more interested in modding the stratoKOSSter ;) it seems like a super fun project IMO

It balances the bass only but never balances the mids/highs

I find the PX100 to be a better giant killer.

The KSC-75 and the PortaPro are a uncomfortable and a pain to use...but yeah, they are sound very good.

Ha...it seems you turned into a modding fiend.

Not quite. I did a bit of modding to my sportapros and ksc75's (put either set of drivers on the parts express headband which greatly increases comfort and ease of use). And I did these mikros 90 mods. I'm leaving the T50RP mods to my modding guru buddy.

You did both the label mod and the elastoplast mod?

Luckily for me, everything is sounding quite balanced (to my ears).

Yeah literally just the bass changed.. didn't do elasoplast as that would change both channels?...

Yes, the elastoplast had a huge impact.

It will detract from the "stream-of-consciousness" feel to this thread, and disrupt the continuum of historical development.

Thread schism.  Don't think I like it.

If it's any consolation, I still do appreciate and enjoy my STOCK pair.  :smile_phones:

The Mikros 90 are a classier product all-the-way-around.
