I'm a conscientious objector in this matter.  I know I might face a court-martial and an untimely end...but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

There really are only two things possible here, these headphones are ridiculously good or...

My new sets... 5 now go right to burn in, I connect them to my surround sound amp, and they get worked out every time we watch TV, 3 weeks of that and I'm pretty confident they have changed, gave my brother a pair last night, with the caveat, that if he doesn't like them, give them back to me and Ill buy you something different, no word yet on if Ill get them back, I did go over many of the new user complaints, that seem to diminish with time.

This Mikros's full potential has been curtailed right from the production floor,

That cup beneath the driver has been taped off...

i doubt the designer fashioned the cup just for it to be left unused?

something is amiss here.

the least we can do is to explore...

this can truly deserves to bloom,

and it is in our hands..

now lets get JUSTICE done.

Recent mp3's I have gotten from Amazon have been 320k...some I have gotten in the past were lower (some at 192k).  I don't know if they have increased all to 320 or if it varies across the spectrum of what they offer.  A lot of discs on Amazon come with Auto Rip...you by the disc and you can download the mp3's immediately...pretty nice feature as you don't have to wait for the mail to arrive to hear your tunes.  Personally...I always buy the disc because (1) I like to have it my hands and read liner notes etc. when I am listening (2) I live in a constant irrational state fear of my hard drive crashing (yes I back-up...to another hard drive...no real comfort there) and I lose music that it has taken me many years to collect, and (3) they just sound better.  I can't speak to iTunes as I don't normally purchase music from them...I prefer Amazon.

OK, already...relax.  I will have my second pair by noon tomorrow...will be delivered to the office.  I have a lunchtime mod on my mind.  Jewelers screwdrivers, self stick foam, etc. already in my bag for a hasty departure from the house in the AM.  Also, I found the plastic tools (came with my iPod replacement battery) for opening my iPod are perfect for removing the ear pads.  I have already decided to start small...removal of tape off the back of the driver, and some carefully placed foam to line the cavity...2 mm self stick foam from the craft Aisle at W-mart.  I do not really want a lot of additional bass.  I am not unhappy with the bass on the stock 90's.  Any final suggestions, warning, words of encouragement, etc. would be appreciated?
