Got my Mikros in. First 15 min out of the box, I can tell you that I would have been pissed if I spent $200 on these. For $50 though, these are pretty awesome.

Two things jumped out at me. The earpads feel like they are trying to have rough sex with my head. It actually helps with isolation, but it's just a little too much.

The cable's gotta go too. Way too thin, and most likely killing some detail. I have a few laying around to swap with. Wildly varying results already, which means some resistance is being introduced by the stocker somehow.

Sounds great already though, but an amp is a must. Going to give them some time to run.

I'm a sucker for bass, but these have plenty for the signature they are going for. I may mod these however, because for $50 why not?

Yup, just got them. First part of 1st song I was thinking "wft, these must need a lot of burn in or something". Second part of 1st song I was thinking "wft, something's wrong with these things". But for the 2nd song, I decided to get the cable plugged in all the way properly. Sounding much better now lol!

I actually like the way they fit. Snug and good seal but without being uncomfortable (yet). And they isolate quite well. Out of the box and with the cable plugged in properly, I'm very happy with the sound. And the bass is more than adequate even without the Maxxx/Lors mods. This bodes well!

Pataburd, I think it's time to admit that you were onto something! At this point I can't say whether or not they will dethrone my M500's. But I'm not gonna say that they won't either!

The stockpads are quite study...its my ntunepads tat succccks.

U can bluetac the cups back for soundtesting..instead of screwing it back each time.

I feel that the cable is fine.  Remember that this headphone was designed for one-the-go purposes.  A thin cable, with volume controls, is perfect for commuting.
