Fair warning given to MAXXXXXXXX !!!

Guys, you will find that this unit is an ease,
as it only needs some fluffy cotton balls ..
Very little as the driver DOES NOT rely on the interior cup much at all if any!!
That is a miracle unto itself!

You will also see that the smooth surface of the rear of the driver looks like a heaven ground for filling with blue tak!!
Don't get carried away as it would make the cans heavier and really questionable if it needs any at all since the plastic is very solid.

I am happy with mine as it is and don't recommend opening unit too much as the pads can get easily stretched. .

Look at these three cans...
Audio Technica esw11
Mikros90
Ultrasone ed8

Quess which is my favorite.?
Actually that is a trick question ..
Because IMHO, MUSICALITY,
these are my BEST THREE CANS.
That in itself should be all you need to know,
To know how good the Mikros90 is...

SF,

You need to post the video of Bruce kickin' Kareem's backside.

High frequency extension and resolution: it's "NO CONTEST".

Mikros 90 versus HE-6.  :smile_phones:

I also have these two cans but the m100 doesn't have the same level of mid & treble clarity. .
And the sony7520 does have the clarity down to the bass but the upper mids & trebles are not as refined as the Mikros..

^ WOW tried to find gifs of this epic battle but there are literally ZERO to be found.

But no need to evoke the great one on this matter, this should more than suffice....

............................................. this unequivocally proofs it, this lil' Logan is a GIANT KILLA'!!!

^ Kinda disappointing to hear that these Logans slay those godly Sony 7520s as well. :triportsad:

Maxxx...so in your opinion the magic is in the driver itself?
Do u think that same magic will work if the drivers are transplanted into a bigger shelf of a can like dt770 or pro900?
I have some carcasses resting in the garage awaiting resurrection day.rolleyes.gif

I haven't tried soldering wires onto the drivers yet..those are so tiny n I dun know which goes where..blush.

^ say something you foo!

Like...

These martin logans have the sound stage space to create an alternate dimension to your layers of music, the instruments sound like they come from another world, and the martins help me experience the tremors and sounds that I hear from this other world!  :o

Or something like that.

Are we going into words like...hynotic ...transcendental.....rapturous...?
This is over hyping manzzzz...the chief hypist hasn't given us the go ahead.
U guys hold the line, nobody breaks rank...else I will confiscate your next Mikros purchase.biggrin.gif
post #1692 of 5891

Somewhere there, probably closer to transcendental, audacious/vivacious, and most important of all,  vigorously divine!

Alrighty, but the next empty comment you make will compel me to hand you to the authorities of headfi! Not to forget that you will have to renounce your hoarded pairs of mikros to the guys at the  hype  and discovery thread.... :veryevil:

That does it!

Lors and vienbo are pulling KP until further notice.

Leave your Mikros 90 with the Mess Sergeant on duty.

Only monosyllabic hype-neutral adjectives allowed in the kitchen.

"Nice" is TOO hyper.
