PredatorZ,

Deo volente, I will forward the Pipelines to you next week, with self-addressed, postage pre-paid mailers.

Actually, only four bit on the offer [and the winners are!!]:

*elvergun

*sfwalcer

*RAZRr1275

*FajroMangxanto

Congratulations, boys, you are about to "rediscover" the Mikros 90 with this fine cable!

I also want to try each of the unmodded ET-4s in my original pair of Mikros 90 to see if any fit.  Was probably an under-spec condition with the Pipeline in combination with an over-spec condition with the MLs that explains the Providential, no-hassle fit my pair got.

BIG KUDOS to the Predator!

Burson has got that BEEFY big sound..i suspect might just hit it off with a Mikros.

waiting to hear your feedback :P

Deal on the HA-160 fell through.

Am caught between the Soloist and the Soloist SL.  Like the idea of the stepped atennuator on the former, but don't need the pre-amp features (at the moment).  Like the two input jacks on the HA-160 because it allows me to use the EVS headphone out Ground enhancer.

Dumb question: what is a BCL?

Could use some suggestions for a good SS . . . please . . . budget $500-$1000 (used).

Thanks for the comments.

Just noticed: I've got four tabs open on my browser--ALL of them on Head-Fi!

Well thank you for allowing me to keep my HP50. It means a lot having your approval ....lol

Can't wait to hear how these magical 90s stack up.

I think he said that since we all feel that the Martin logans will stack up well. smily_headphones1.gif thus making him state that since you like them right now, you can keep them.

I'm interested a comparison between the two after you let the 90s burn in for a while.

I know that Beagle likes them both.

Beagle got me interested in the M500. The KEF is still a great headphone to my ears; it just doesn't beat the On1 and HP50 for me. And the NAD is the most comfortable of the three for me.

the sound is refined...microdetailed...sounded cooler than burson160 (coarser beefier)..or meier concerto( more brittle, brighter).

has lo mid hi gain levers under the belly.  u can plug two headfones at the same time for direct A/B ing.

kept it for 3yrs..outlasted all the other amps i had. maybe i will pick up the latest version for keeps.

Edit : am using an Audiogd NFB10.32 balanced dac+amp; this combo has a slight warm tube-like sound...v engaging..v powerful.

Almost 6w..enuf to juice the HE6 for most of my albums..cept those from Reich Kunsel..arrghh.

i sold my LYR n LDmk4se since having this amp...tot i dun need tube amps anymore. but but but...

i adopted two more...lolz

You're making me wish I'd kept every headamp I'd ever owned.

I almost re-bought the G&W T 2.6F.  Thinking about the Darkvoice 337SE (but remember that it did not do well with low impedance loads).  Enjoyed the DV 336SE with the DT880/2003.

The Lehmann looks like a great direction to go with the Mikros 90--THANKS!

Need to post some pics of the Fitz-improved Bada PH-12.  : )

Will try to get some topside pictures up with those three 6SN7s glowing.  Fitz put in a nice 3-stage crossfeed, which I usually use on the lowest setting.

Here's the humble KMF:

For its modest [and baby blue!] appearance, the KMF--built by Kent M. Faqua--performs surprisingly well.

The thread of a discontinued headphone is tied for 1st place as the most active thread.  Interesting:http://www.head-fi.org/pages/stats/top/range/1day/#threads
