The 770 velours are completely different from the 880/990 velours.

Oops! Sorry for posting the link then. I just saw EDT 770VB so I replied with the link. :)

EDT 770V on Amazon UK then:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beyerdynamic-EDT770V-Headphone-Pads-Silver/dp/B0016MMYKA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433333449&sr=8-1&keywords=edt+770v

I did try the 770V pads on my COP but I prefered COP's slightly larger bass (I think the only reason I still keep the COP). I've been using the DT 770 (80 Ohms) since I got them and COP is in a drawer. Ahhh~

EDT 770V on Amazon UK then:

EDT 770 V = velour pads in silver for the DT770/COP

EDT 770 VB = velour pads in black for the DT770/COP

All is good ;-) Both are mentioned on Beyers site as replacement pads for the COP, though the black version costs ~2€ more.

Yea, that is true. Checked it this morning after Mad Lust Envy said that we shouldn't use the EDT 770 VB. But I understand what he means because I have both and there is a difference in the material used.

No, he advised against the 880/990 pads, those have different part names and go by EDT 990 V / EDT 990 VB...

Ah! Yes. I just checked. Anyways, thanks for pointing out my mistake. The links for the EDT 770 VB is already posted above. I apologize for my confusion; was just trying to help. :gs1000smile:

Cheers!

I mentioned it mainly because someone mentioned 880/990 pads earlier. Definitely avoid like the plague for closed headphones.
