I listen radio through ipad apps (tunein & accuradio) using ATH-ES 88, which their sound is only next to unlistenable, is there any way to make them sound better, does amplifier will help on this case ?. Thanks
How to get the best out of internet/streaming radio sound quality ?

- Pros:“Warm sound signature, detailed, non-fatiguing”“Richly detailed, supremely textured, natural sound that is smooth, effortless and relaxing to listen to. A forgiving allrounder with superb comfort.”
It should go in the sources section.
But anyways, I'll answer your question.
The audio on radio apps is pretty highly compressed. Most of them play at <100kbps AAC, which is seriously low quality.
I'm sorry to say but there's no way to change that.
If you use Tune-in, you'll see the bit rate when your station is playing. Maybe you can choose ones that are higher bit rate.
