how to check audeze lcd2 manufacturing date?

hey all

 

im about to buy the audeze LCD2 headphone from a friend, and i was just wondering how can i be sure it REV 2. and how can i check the manufacturing date?

It can be found on the FR graph that you should hopefully recieve with the headphones. If not, a general guideline but not always the case is.. if the serial number starts with 56.. its defo a rev1, once they start into rev 2 they are more likely to be 531.. but a few still are Rev1's (I know, I know)

 

"Audeze research labs" stamped on the grill is defo Rev 1, but to confuse you even more... Late Rev 1's also don't have this stamped on, aswell as the Rev2's...

 

Rev 2's have the Leather headband!

 

(you can always check with Audeze if you have the serial number :)
