This one says mobile replacement. You sure its this one?

Yes it's that one.

It's "mobile replacement" because it is bulk packaging.
Meaning, you get the earphone and the tips in a small ziploc bag.

Make sure you get the MH1C not the MH1.  The MH1C is more commonly called the Smart Headset rather than Livesound (which should be the name for the old MH1, but many places bungled up the name change).  The MH1C will be compatible with your iDevices for music, mic and play / pause / answer call button (but maybe not the other buttons) while the old MH1 would require an adapter for compatibility.  The old MH1 has the old Sony Ericsson logo on the earpieces while the new MH1C doesn't.  Judging by the picture provided that is indeed the MH1C.

This is making me a bit afraid but if it is the right one, then I may as well scoop it up.

The wrong one looks like this

See the old Sony Ericsson logo on the back of the housing?

Hey joe bloggs just wanted to drop in and say thanks for putting this out there, Took my MH1C's up a notch. Everything sounds more intimate, Vocals are amazing, piano keys have more weight. Thanks for the enlightenment brother

Also I took the EQ settings you put up and matched them to mine on winamp which like I said was a nice touch, though I notice nine bullets/ points of frequency you fiddled with and I have 10, was one cropped out or is this a different EQ your working with?

NVM just came across your other in depth Posting regarding such matters per individual, thanks for the great info! *gets to reading*

I just want to point out that the graphs on this page are frequency response graphs and the EQ curves I employ are inverted up / down relative to the FR graphs, ie I cut the bass on the MH1C, not boost...

Others are prone to letting emotions cloud their judgment early on after receiving their set... but I have my measurements to back up my enthusiasm biggrin.gif I'll update the review if my impression changes (doubtful)

I bought it when it was priced at $21. I still prefer the SHE3590.

The MH1C is probably my 2nd favorite budget model, It is somewhat too smooth for my tastes, I prefer the sparkle of the SHE3590.

I just placed an order on MH1C and it will arrive approximate next week. I am looking forward on comparing it with my monster turbine pearl.
