I do understand that both are differential.  I have no problem understanding that both are balanced.  I do not read the other thread seeing everyone else believing the same.  I just don't seem to see the kind of lock step agreement in that other thread as you seem to.

We do agree that the GS-X is a truly balanced amp and that is a good point of agreement to end on.

I agree to some degree.  When someone says something isn't something the why should be there too so others don't fill in the blank themselves.  And on that note...

The GS-X is balanced and differential and all that other good stuff because each channel begins with...

Stage 1 is a dual FET fully-differential fully-balanced front-end.

Any status updates on the GS-X?

Call me a perfectionist but I'm noticing the jacks aren't inline and the toggle switches are going to be really entertaining for big fingers :(

The toggle switches look similar size to the BHSE's which is ideal for me, I'm guessing the jacks are out of line because of the room inside. Justin can answer that though.

I know why they are out of line, just assumed Justin would have raised the non combo jack to match.  The hole for the switch on the BHSE has a flat section that makes getting fingers in easier.

It's hard for me to tell, but would you say they're of line on the bottom as well?

It looks like the 4 pin XLR socket is slightly smaller than the other two. Regarding the toggle switches, on the BHSE the toggle is stuck out a bit which makes it very easy to get to. The ones on the GS-X look smaller so those with big fingers might have a problem.

The jacks aren't the same size so with them all mounted on a PCB they won't line up.  No way around that except with some fiddly assembly which will always be troublesome. 

Even as it is, the GS-X still looks amazing. Can't wait to see it under my amp section of the BHSE.
