Truth.  When my 007mk1 needed service I had sent it to England, it had been repaired and returned before Yama got back to me /facepalm

I think you are thinking on their final price they give you later in process and not the one on website. Need to add their broker fee and shipping.

Look at the price on the main page, request quote, select cheapest shipping... same price as main page.  I've used PriceJapan every time I want to buy a product that originates from the region ;)

What is current wait times on gs-x?
It's all variable depending on metal supply. Seems a minimum might be about 6 months. There are several of us in this batch who ordered in March 2013, perhaps earlier.

Hmm I hope that guy looking for a refund responds then as well as justin allowing so done to jump in his place. I like the idea of having a great SS amp along with the EC 2a3 MKIV I have coming in soon.

This is my last post regarding PriceJapan on this thread, but I've just been on PriceJapan again to see how much the K-01 is if I was going to order one, knowing it could back out at the last part.
The price came to $13,632 which included delivery, I then went on PayPal to do a Dollar conversion to Pounds, and the price I got was £8,480.

Around 6 months was how long I waited from ordering to receiving the GS-Xmk2 I have, that was in 2012 though.

Yeah March 2013 for me, was told by Justin it was 2-3 months out, but things happen with suppliers etc, I've done my best not to hassle the guy and let him get on with it ;)

I can sympathize with folks who have waited quite a bit -- I put in before any one who has said anything thus far -- but everyone needs to realize that Justin is not Walmart or Amazon and whatever you aren't getting in immediacy, you will in quality. One man operation does not have the muscle to work on subs like the big operators. Also, we need to consider that justin is running a fairly yourg company. Being small and young is tough if you want to deliver  a top notch product. Subs, who do not have their name riding on the product, often screw things up, and the manufacturer who wants to put out a quality product needs to work overtime to ensure quality and make everything work. I think we all need a break sometimes, I know I am not always perfect at my job, so lets be take it easy and see what happens before we pass judgement.

I don't think anyone is criticizing Justin on time. I agree with your statements. I would also add you are paying for hand built item made to order. While it isn't a bespoked amp, it is getting very close. Not sure most of us are qualified or would even want to design a bespoked amplifier. My wife just ordered a bespoked purse that is going to take 9 months or more. Part of the "fun" is the anticipation. Fun might be too strong of a word. Waiting is part of the process that makes the piece special.

I don't even want to think about that purse. Make my recent headphone habit seem cheap. Pictures not forthcoming for 6-7 more months

Quality takes time, after all how long does it take to build a Rolls Royce?, and I wouldn't mind betting Rolls Royce aren't waiting on parts.
