hey Justin;

I totally feel your frustration. i work on acquisitions and I am fully aware how subcontractors can screw things up for the primes. hope they can figure it out soon. Hang in there and good luck on straightening it out.

Why did they return some of panels? Seems unprofessional of them. "Sorry, I'm just totally over the rest of these panels right now."

Well he can't accept them if they are damaged.  Plus if he files the claim with the shipping courier, they will take the possession of them anyway.

I'm ragging on the company contracted to polish the panels, not Justin. Seems odd of them to do some panels and return the rest in such a poor way.

they had what they called 'snow'. this is when a panel is sanded smooth to remove machining lines and surface scratches, but what can't be seen is that the sanding tore out thousands of little pits that are maybe 1/1000th of an inch deep. shows up once the panel is polished. have to get the panels resurfaced and then try again.

I noticed that but if you look at the ordering page you will see the black one (non MK2) as sale for MK2.

Very confusing.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Indeed, slightly confusing. Just an old picture is all. Justin should update the site with some more recent snapshots.

I had the same question a while back - you are not alone!

I actually prefer the look of the old one, although they are both fantastic.  Maybe off topic, but has the Blue Hawaii changed in looks as well?

The mk2 look is to match the BHSE so no.
