i thought you were going for a stratus lol
It might not sell fast but it would sell. And if its as good as everyone here says it is I don't think I'd be selling any time soon.
Sounds like at least three requests for the same color combination though. Strength in numbers? Back in the early days of this thread I think Justin suggested the color himself.
Boy did you make the right decision!
Although I really enjoyed the LG for what it was. The price... eh, but the sound was great with the HD800. Can't comment on the DS or the LF, but by all accounts they are decent but not GS-X mk2 worthy.
I owned the LF and it wasn't even close to the GS-X, let alone the MKII. The DS....feel free to look that one up.
Fighting words: On my OG gs-x with mk2 modules and Resonnessence Concero as the source and the ATH-AD2000 as the phones, the Gilmore Lite has a clear advantage in terms of bass kick. The gs-x plays the bass, with great texture I might add, it simply just loses the oomph. Also some treble etch present on the GLite that actually sounds pretty nice with the ATs -- same songs are smoother on GS-X. The AT's also wouldn't be the last word in detail so if the gs-x actually plays more of the deet's it's not going to be a huge loss.
Also, may be old news to some but rca loop out on the back of my GS-X apparently = rca of the input... XLR input to RCA loop output is a no go. Par for the course!
You people know who you are.
Thanks to you guys though the rest of us can gain some feedback and knowledge. I am enjoying the Liquid Glass now while I await the GS-X and the Stratus. It does pair quite well with my headphones currently.
