This is a used Pro-Ject Debut III purchased in the winter of 2010/11. It has seen normal use. I am a student, so it spends the summers off when I travel back home. I haven't played it since May of this year when I busted my phono preamp, and the attached picture is the first time it's seen use since then. If you're wondering what's under the feet, that's just some cardboard I'm using to keep the table level. I live in a 100+ year old house and the floors sag.
The turntable could probably use some cartridge realignment/tracking adjustments, but other than that it works fine. I had to clean out the counterweight, which had some incredibly fine rust inside, making it difficult to screw the weight, but that's been the only problem I've had with this table since I purchased it. If you're really worried about that, replacements can be purchased for $20, but the one on now works fine. The dust cover has some expected wear.
I'm selling this turntable for two reasons. One, I plan to upgrade to a Rega RP3 with my tax return in Jan/Feb. This past summer I sold off my Speed Box and Acryl-It platter that I had previously owned, so I'm trying to complete the process in preparation for an RP3.
Two, I am a student making just enough to pay my rent and I need food money.
I'll ask that you pay shipping in addition to the $180, which will have to be determined at the time of sale (price will depend on where you live). I've listed sales as U.S. only, but if you're willing to pay the shipping overseas, I'll listen to the offer.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
