I see, so they do the currency conversion for you when they charge your credit card? Damn shipping is almost as much as these MH1Cs are going for. LoL

But this is good to know, never ordered anything from amazon uk before.

Amazon doesn't do the conversion.

Whatever card/bank you use for the transaction will. And if that card/bank also charges for the conversion/foreign transaction, that comes with the territory too.

I usually use them to get paperback international versions of hardcover college books that would have cost twice as much here.

I'm not sure if for US people buying from the UK would be faster than HK, it really depends on how fast the package leaves the original country, once in the US territory is all the same! Royal Mail (UK) aims to deliver to the US within 7 working days but for atomikn00b that seems already not respected.
Did you notice that the amazon uk seller wrote "ships in the retail package"? I wonder if true smily_headphones1.gif I bought it from them too (shipped today). Anyway yes the shipping cost is way too much, even to the UK they don't pay £3.95 to ship nationally!

Just wondering what country you are in? The two major providers in my area officially have caps of 200GB and 500GB BUT they have NEVER enforced them. I have used both companies. Att in my area NEVER started enforcing their cap. The online program for it was NEVER started up so it never counted. My current provider has an official cap but nobody has ever been called as i have been told.

Hmm

Geki Rockets -No Borders Between Us
Alan -Japan premium best
Eminem- Encore
Maximalism- Soundtrack for a great adventure(some songs clip but a very good album)
Pendulum- Immersion
Black Eyed Peas- Monkey Business
Perfume-JPN
Nightwish-Imagenerium

Etc

So I tried my mh1c on a colleague's ipod touch and still no go on the buttons.  It didn't even do the random volume thing!  Do I buy another pair assuming I got a dud (they work fine as just headphones in my C3 so no sense sending them back) or are they really iDevice unfriendly?  I'll be on the lookout for anyone else with one to test on tomorrow but didn't see any today.

I wore them to work and back (half hour walk) and had no issues with them falling out and the microphonics were bearable without the clip - guess I should be thinking about burning them in properly...

Just wanted to share a little experience I had with my MH1C last night, but I need to give you some background first.

I'm working towards my Pharm. D, and I mean it when I say working. Though the course content is not really difficult, the sheer amount of time you have to put into it to stay afloat can really be taxing sometimes. My professors, while nice, tend to have the bad habit of scheduling all their exams back to back to back, so I can end up with 5 or 6 tests in the course of a week.

Last night I was in the library and I found myself almost going crazy thinking about everything I had to do, while trying to study for the test I had this morning. So, I pulled out my MH1C and put on a playlist of my favorite Opera pieces. I thought the bass was too much, so I just put on the iphone's stock bass reducer EQ. I instantly got lost in the music.

I played Mozart's Magic Flute, Bizet's Carmen, and Orff's Carmina Burana

All this time, I had my head down on the desk, cupped in my massive biceps. When I finally raised my head, I was shocked to find myself back in the library.

Just an example of the power of music, and how a great value like the MH1C can make it even better.

Good story. Music can alway be a great pick-me up. Better to be addicted to it than a number of other things I can think of......

I just had one question about your story though.....

Do "massive biceps" isolate much better than "normal biceps" or even "puny biceps".... This may motivate me to hit the gym harder beyersmile.png

Well I am probably gonna get a good flamin' from those "burn-in" haters but whatevers......... wrote this on the discovery thread as well.

"OK this is crazy, these MH1Cs are starting to freak me out for the 2nd time and NOW i can finally hear/ see why Ds said they have like 80% of the xba3s in sound. It just gets better and better with more burn-in and for some reason i get the best results burning them in with Flying Lotus "Until The Quiet Comes" album on full blast over night with my ipod classic (man these little suckas drain/ takes more juice than my JVC headphones when burning in on full blast, like 9 hours and battery almost empty). I have other bass heavy albums for burn-in but it doesn't get the same results for some reason.hmmmmmm strange maybe it's the funky beats in this album, I haven't listen it to much and not a huge fan so i just use it for burn-in. LMAO

The 1st breakthrough was also with this album after like 4 full days of full blasting them initially with other bass heavy albums, and this recent, 2nd breakthrough was also with that Flying Lotus album. The over all sound now has become faster/ bass is less sluggish and the mids/ highs are a lot more transparent. Everything just sound so airy/ and in your face combined with that tight big bass extension makes the sound signature of these MH1Cs truly lovely and fun. There is also a ridiculous amount of sparkle in the mids and the highs which makes everything sound more refined without any harshness. I think these are now on par, if not has surpassed my JVC FXD70s. These MH1Cs are truly the total/ complete upgrade to the FX40s I was looking for. WOW!!!

Oh and the cable no longer bugs me, wear them over ears with a clip, there is little to no cord noise and it does not pop out as easily. Really comfy when worn over-ears as well.  (props to the doods that suggested wearing these over-ears, thanks!!!)

Thanks you'll for the heads up on this thing, truly a sonic gem!!! beerchug.gif"
