Aspiring Audiophile PLEASE Help Me Choose The Right Portable Setup :D!!

Hey Guys this is my first time on this site and so far i think its the best place to post a question about headphones. The best Headphones i have ever owned was just a regular Sony in ear headphones that i buyed for 11£ in Tesco. But ever since i went to my friends place to chill his older brother came along with these really good headphones and they completely blew me away they sounded really good i think they were DennonD700's

he shared a lot of info and now i really want a set up that will make me enjoy music more.

 

i need help choosing between the Beyerdynamic DT 1350 or the Shure SE535 or The Sennheiser HD 25-1 ii Originals

i have only had in ear headphones.

 

Am thinking of getting the Ipod Classic 160GB for my source of music. But other options are appreciated

 

 

I also want an amplifier and a DAC         ( Money is not a problem )

It's obvious from your choices that you have done a bit of research.  I have all the three 'phones that you mentioned and I personally, would go for the DT1350 first.  To me, it's a very good all rounder and the build quality on that is just awesome.

 

For a headphone DAC/Amp combination, you should note that not all portable DACs work with the iPod or iDevices.  As far as it's commonly know, only the Fostex HP-P1, Sony PHA-1 and Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo, Go-Dap, can put out a digital line out from iDevices.  There may be a few others but I am not so sure of them.

 

RSA, TTVJ, HeadAmp and many more, all make quality amps.  The search for what you like is part of the fun.
