Opinions on Brainwavz r1 IEM

hi,

I am considering purchasing a pair of r1s on mp4nation,

but first i would like peoples opinions on them as there are little reviews if any online due to them being newly released,

i was also considering gsonic gr02 bass editon how do they compare with them?

You will get what you have paid for is all I can say because I never tried the gr2 b4.

Just wait about a week or two, most people will receive their R1 early next week.

I have to say that the GR02 are insanely good for the price, and when's the last time you've seen a sub $50 earphone come with 10 pairs of eartips?

I'd be surprised if the R1 are better than them, but it comes down to preference.

 

just watch the http://www.head-fi.org/t/631240/brainwavz-r1-review thread for a few weeks, and don't just jump on the first review that's posted by someone giving a raving first impression within 15min of receiving them

give it some time

ok the only problem is that the r1s are on special offer at 34.99 and fed ex 2 day delivery if ordered before 22, do you know where is best to purchase g sonic gr02 bass edition

You might as well purchase them. The early reviews seemed to be rather positive for their performance. Probably not 10/10 on value to performance, but it's only $35. More than likely it won't be too poor on the sound quality of any music you listen to. You can purchase other headphones in the future.

Thanks for your info my brother is looking for new iem's so i think i will now purchase both and give one set to him he seemed to like to

the look of the brainwavz so i will probaly get the vsonics, also for around 30-40$ are the vr02 bass edition the best i can get?

WARNING : better wait to rev2 if they correct the cable/strain relief problem. Current build quality leaves much to be desired. Like for instance memory wire or some reinforcement to prevent cable shorts

Probably three months too late to mention that, I imagine.

That said, my R1s don't really have problem with build or anything, but the cable guides/memory wire will make them a lot more enjoyable.
