"4.0 out of 5 stars

If there is one cable I would whole-heartedly trust to my Chimera-hunting needs, this would be the cable. No other cable has the tensile strength to properly and efficiently garrote a lycanthrope, asphyxiate an Esquilax or even gag a mermaid. Last week, using my trusty AudioQuest K2 (retrofitted with lead weights, bright orange latex paint and a generous coating of crushed glass stolen from the window of an abandoned church at midnight), I managed to snuff 3 golden unicorns in swift succession!

Pros: Quickly tears through scales, fur, bone, and adamantium with ease
Coils and uncoils from hip holster (optional) quickly and quietly
For a product fabricated from 1,000 Onyx Dragon fetuses, the price is unbelievably reasonable!

Cons: Shipping from the R'lyeh took far too long
Doesn't come in 10' lengths (which would be perfect for hydra, cerberii and other multi-headed creatures)
After every use, I can feel 6 ounces of my soul slipping from my core into the ether. But this may be due to the fact that I prefer to work without gloves. YMMV.

Overall, I would recommend that any hunter buy one, nay, two, of these immediately, and experience the difference that upgrading to the K2 will make in your next quest!"

 Completely ineffective November 28, 2010
Even when I buffered the lightning down to a few thousand volts, these cables burned out before revivification could take place. Worse, while wasting time with these the body began to putrify; now I have to go out and dig up fresh materials and spend all that time stitching them together again.

Doesn't anyone screen these ads?"

This review is from: AudioQuest K2 Terminated Speaker Cable - UST 2.44 m Plugs 8' Pair (Electronics)
PROS:

1. Can be used to restart a human heart using only a car battery.
2. Creates inter dimensional portals of surprising stability.
3. Will mesmerize and subdue two-headed serpents.
4. Very slimming when worn as a belt.

CONS

1. Portals operate in both directions and instructions for their safe usage AND CLOSURE are not included. Experience in our community suggests this is a serious oversight and may pose significant product liability issues for the manufacturer.

2. While I have been reasonably satisfied with the product's performance, I was disappointed to learn that all of its functions can be performed just as well, more safely, and at a fraction of the cost, by a standard set of jumper cables and a bag of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

LOL

PLEASE! You must listen! We cannot maintain the link for long... I will type as fast as I can.

DO NOT USE THE CABLES!

We were fools, fools to develop such a thing! Sound was never meant to be this clear, this pure, this... accurate. For a few short days, we marveled. Then the... whispers... began.

Were they Aramaic? Hyperborean? Some even more ancient tongue, first spoken by elder races under the red light of dying suns far from here? We do not know, but somehow, slowly... we began to UNDERSTAND.

No, no, please! I don't want to remember! YOU WILL NOT MAKE ME REMEMBER! I saw brave men claw their own eyes out... oh, god, the screaming... the mobs of feral children feasting on corpses, the shadows MOVING, the fires burning in the air! The CHANTING!

WHY CAN'T I FORGET THE WORDS???

We live underground. We speak with our hands. We wear the earplugs all our lives.

Do not use the cables!

very well written, someone's been reading a little bit too much H.P. Lovecraft

Electrons wiggling about in very poor conductors makes so much more sense!

BTW, Cardas Cables.......what do they do?
Create peace, love and understanding?

And that's just it. After so much science trying to understand the physics of cable technology and placebo, there ends up being understandings that people get afraid to write about for fear of being ridiculed or laughed at.

So no matter how extreme or simple people's ideas as to why some hear a difference or think they hear a difference, a better stance here would be in the format of a Lovecraftian fable.

None of it is true? None of it?

If we are going to ridicule cable swappers may as well ridicule tube swappers.

May as well throw in Op Amp rollers too.

And while we are at it, all DACs sound the same.

Fact:

The analog output of your iPod is all you need!

I have spoken!

The subject is closed!

Foolish Earthlings!

Prepare to be annihilated!

The alien invasion/destruction begins tomorrow!

Or maybe the day after tomorrow.

I'm sure it does. That's why I added the WARNING about the imminent alien invasion!

Call me slightly amused by the fact that the cable swappers get all the "action"..............I guess I just see it as shades of grey and not very black and white.

So why pick on cables?

Yes, I realize that it is human nature that we never be able to agree on why we both LIKE the same headphone!

P.S.

Has anyone ever noticed that Nordost speaker cable can be used to make a good belt?

Kimber speaker cable makes an excellent boat mooring tie.

Hmmm, sorry, could not resist! Now I am one of them!
