Hello

 

i really want the r1 

but since i saw a review that the e30 is really good for running i dont know what to pick up...

So guys can you tell me which one has better sound and better fit?

I've got a pair of white Soundmagic e30s that I've used one time that I can give you for cheap if you want to try them.

 

I ordered the R1s and I'll be able to compare them to my black e30s that I use daily at the gym.

The R1 just came out so not many people have it yet. The first batch was shipped out today for everyone that pre-ordered. You will see reviews/impressions coming up in near future.

 

SoundMagic e30 is amazing. The best IEM you can get for under $50 for now. It has natural sound with amazing tonal quality. Has a hint of warmness and a touch of added bass. It also has a good soundstage, about 75% of a Sennheiser IE8 imo.

 

I think R1 could be simliar to e30, but better soundstage and bass. I will let you know as I ordered one, and I already have e30 on me.

After about an hours worth of play on the R1, I like the e30s better I think.  Not quite as bass bloated.  But we'll see if that tightens up with a little burn.

Give me few days guys,,,,got my E30 replaced n also got my new R1.

From initial impressions E30 is clear winner as far as Mids n Highs are concerned.

R1 wins in Bass department. It has depth n more capacity to handle boomy songs. E30 has more punchy bass but small nozzle prevents to get proper bass(may b my ears r too big for E30)

Soundstage of E30 feels really tiny after listening to R1.

I'm waiting for both the earphones to burn-in. Will post in depth review later.
