recommendations for IEMs with sound signature similar to UE Triple-Fi 10?

My old UE Triple-Fi 10s from 2007 are falling apart (I had to glue them together this morning) and I considered buying another pair at Amazon, but thought maybe there might have been a few new and exciting developments in the IEM market since then.

I listen primarily to classical music, so I enjoy the clarity of the midrange and bass. I prefer an overall neutral sound and didn't enjoy Shure which I owned prior to the UE. I'm also looking for something that can block out the sound of the subway on my daily, albeit relatively short, commute.

Anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to stay under the $500 range and am open to custom fit IEMs as long as they don't extend beyond my cap which I realize is the low range for the custom ones.

check out cosmic ears cutom in ears, or shure SE535 or SE425 (425 is more neutral, 535 is fun and thick sounding)

Well I haven't received mine yet but the new T-Peos H-100 is said to sound a lot like the TF10 and its around the same price at $177.  Its a hybrid IEM with 1 balanced armature and 1 dynamic driver, ClieOS said it sounds like a milder V-shaped TF10 but with better textured bass.

Not wishing to be obtuse, but what about the TF10?

Interesting, where's the best place to purchase a pair (T-Peos H-100)?

Prior to the TF10, I used to use a Shure e500s, but there was just way too much bass for my taste. I wonder what the SE425 sounds like though...

The Phonak PFE232, RE272, GR01, Sony EX1000 are very detailed in mids, highs with good bass extention and great instruments separation. BTW UE recently launched UE900 and they willbe good upgrade over UE TF10Pro with better details and more isolation.

I advise you try the SE425 if you can, they definitely won't have way to much bass, but they are not bass light either.

Also you get great build quality and isolation and support from Shure.

You can get the H-100 from ebay, here a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150923158009&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

If your looking for something that sounds like a TF10 the SE425 isn't it, its a decent IEM (I had one for awhile) but doesn't sound like a TF10 as it more mid-centric.

Ortofon e-Q5 might be an option.

Westone3 and UE700 are similar to TF10
