No idea on the triple flanges but these are large bore - see http://www.complyfoam.com/products/ts-400/ compatibility list (at the bottom) for a list of possible donors.

Can anyone tell me if the fxz200 sounds anything like the fxt90? I was not a big fan of the aggressive mids and splashy symbols of the fxt90.

I know that some have said that JVC has new "tuning" of the twin driver system for the fxz200, but I haven't read any conclusive evidence. Thanks

I have used both FXT90 and FXZ200 extensively (more than 200 hours on each). FXZ200 is much darker, with more bass emphasis and more neutral mids and highs, very unlike the blatantly V-shaped signature in FXT90. FXT90 also doesn't reach as deep in the sub bass like FXZ200.

FXZ200's highs is not splashy and sibilant like FXT90 does for sibilant female vocals like in some EDM, so it's less fatiguing. Details in the upper region is much more forward in FXT90 though. Instrument separation is kind of awful in FXT90 compared to FXZ200 IMHO.

And I found that bass impact of FXZ200 with gain +12dB on Fiio E17 is otherworldly. :L3000: The bass is about as enjoyable as listening with my 2.1 speakers

Hope this comparison (from a mere junior head fier) helps

Thanks! It really did help my confidence in buying the fxz200.

I'm sure you're going to enjoy upgrading from fxt90 to fxz200 as much I did back then  :beerchug: Happy listening.

Remember to tip roll though. Getting the right sort of seal is tricky with fxz200
