JVC HA-FXZ 100/200 - Page 161

Funny, I didn't find them that inefficient. I listen at realistic levels and all my DAPs had no issue achieving it without distortion. They are certainly less effecient than some other things but not radically so. An amp does help but that's more about control than effeciency. They will still be easier to drive than effecient cans.

I too found them more difficult to drive straight from my iPod. My M100 go too loud for me at 90%, but the 200s are too quiet at for me at 100%.

I admit I'm a loud listener, and for people who aren't, then it should be fine, but comparing the volume on source with my M-100, its safe to say the M100 is easier to drive.

My samsung galaxy 3s seem to run the 200's to loud enough volumes.  A lot better than my 4s did.

Nice I sure will!

Grabbed a friends set of Dre Beats to compare quickly.  FXZ200's were slightly easier to drive not to mention the clearer vocals and increase bass quality and quantity. Albeit not exactly a fair comparison, but needing to turn the volume down on the 200's compared to the Beats was surprising.

Where do you recommend I buy the jvc200 from? US Amazon? Any recommended sellers? And how what is the fastest way to receive it?

Japan amazon.  Register through Tenso.com because they don't send to the US.  Tenso will receive your order from the japan amazon and send it to you for a small fee.  So:

1.  Register with Japan amazon

2.  Register with Tenso.

3.  When you order through Japan amazon they will ask for the shipping address.  Use the address Tenso gave to you.  They also have a page with what goes where since its all in Japanese.

4.  Pay the small fee when Tenso gets it and wait for your order to come.

I got mine on J-Amazon for $250 rather than $350.  Take your pick.

You got lucky.  Heres a link for a $250 seller on Amazon:

Heres a J-Amazon for only $184.29

Wow, thanks!

No problem.  I think thats the lowest I've seen them.  The 100's were about that price.

Not and what does that have to do with volume?

I can't find too many comparisons between IE80 vs JVC FXZ200 vs FX700. Any takers?
