I take it your meaning the sound was better than you expected. How is the fit for you? Isolation? They just look a bit awkward.

Fit is great, not very invasive as other IEMs. Isolation is not very good, but I can deal with it.

Just for another point of reference, I am getting great isolation from these. I am wearing them in the correct ear and straight down (yeah, they look a bit silly). Right now I using sony hybrid tips, but get identical isolation with my comply ts-400 ones.

My wife was standing next to me talking and I had my iPhone 4s at ~65-70% volume and could not hear her at all (bonus!).

Hi everyone,

I've skimmed through the thread, but maybe I have missed the answer to my question:

How do these compare to the FXT90's?

Use the "Search This Thread" function an type "FXT90" in the box to find your answer.  There are a few posts on the subject in this thread.

Some more updates; using stock medium tips, these things are insane... certainly a breakthrough with its triple dynamic drivers in there, and it shows (sounds...?)

The bass is incredible, not a touch bleeding into the lush mids and highs. Nothing takes a back seat, every inch of the frequency is dead on- vocals, high hats, brass instruments, mids have that sweet crunch

It really is a 2.1 system, the differentiation between the whole spectrum is outstanding

Granted this is only with 2 days of listening, at decently loud volumes, so I expect the bass to tame a bit.

Stock tips arent helping im sure either, the highs have the slightest veil which will hopefully go away completely after some tip rolling

And yes they look funny(straight down correct ears), but who cares when the sound is this good. No issues at all with fit, find them plenty comfortable.

Back at it!! More comparisons later

I'm gonna order that meelec tip variety pack. Sounds fun lol

I'm getting good fit and seal with sub par isolation with stock medium tips, over ear correct ears.

Uhhhm.. I hope my 200s are okay. I was listening through my ZO2, and I get a sharp pop and a shock to my ear. My ZO is on the fritz, the led is flickering every colour and it won't shut off OR reset via pin.

I'll admit I'm at work doing staticy stuff, but I've never experienced something like that before, and my ZO is overheating like its gonna explode.

LoL, you could have gone deaf and all you're worried about are yours FXZ200???

Spoken like a TRUE head-fier, his audio equipment ALWAYS come 1st!

Ya mon, that is why I fear for my dare life when i see those ZO bass monsters. Hope is just some random bugs but from what you described you better go check on that warranty of yours, need to send that bugger back ASAP. Seems dangerous just going near it, let alone use it. :  (

Haha, yeah I'm pretty sure my hearing is still in check, I mean there's no pain or ringing.

But the thing I think I'm MOST bummed about is now my iPod touch is useless again. It has a broken headphone jack, so now without an amp I can't listen to music.

Oh and about warranties, both these items are second hand through head-fi trades. Sooooo I'm eating this ZO since it can fry an egg- I have it wrapped in a towel sitting on the concrete floor atm. As for the 200s, I'm hoping they are fine and will find out when I get home..

I would still contact DigiZoid on that Zo. They have good customer service.
