A UM3X with thunderous, deep-scale bass for 190€... hmmm... wink.gif

Miow thanks for suggesting sony hybrids, it's brought out the bass and treble more without being bloated or sibilant.

I think I'll stick with these for a while.

I'm unsubscribing from here after today, but I'll be back. I have these on my wishlist.

You're welcome. A shame not everyone's have the Fischer Audio black silicone tips as the difference for the Sony Hibryds is night and day. Treble gets ultra-realistic and theres alot more micro-detail. I was thrilled, a shame I had to shipp them today :(

The treble was as good as a triple BA. Same resolution. What a surprise coming from a dynamic.

So you planning on buying these in the future?

Looking around those tips look very much like ue sfi5 pro's which I should have kicking around.

Hmm brb lol

Ok found my super fi's, luckily the tips fit me well as i've no idea where the spares are.

From what I'm hearing it's really opened them up, I'll have to listen for longer but so far I'm really liking it.

So why sell your current pair, only to buy another?

Love the ue tips btw, it's really improved the details whilst keeping the signature the same.

How are the reloops getting on btw?

I never stated the 200s needed amplification. I stated that it performs even better with it, but it definitely doesn't need it. Two different frames of thought.

Hmmm....  I thought I saw somewhere that they're a little quiet without amplification.

Still gonna have to wait this one out. Moving in the next 6 weeks is gonna hurt my wallet more than being on head-fi frown.gif

to my ears... it has more umph with an amp but sounds cleaner without.  I think the low end has more drive when more power.  ymmv

Because I couldn't go back on my word with the buyer at this point.

I've just returned the Reloops, since the SONY XB800 modded are WAY better.

Forgot to mention that the FXZ200 did not work without an amp. Too mudy, no treble, no nothing. You amp them and its heaven since bass, to mids, to treble, to micro detail. If you don't have an amp don't buy them, they don't work.

So not true and an unfair statement to make with only that short of time listening to them.
