SOLD: *New Closeout, final, rock-bottom price.

This is a rare chance to get a gloriously pro-built B22 at the cost of manufacturing.  The Rockhopper build is top-flight in every way.

I did a three-way comparison with this amp, the Eddie Current Zana Deux, and the Cavalli Liquid Fire. All three amps are in the same playing field, just a different flavor. Of the three amps, this B22 had the largest soundstage, the sharpest imaging, and the most details. It truly is a glorious amp.

This was bought from the original owner who put about 35 hours total on it. Since then it has received about 500 hours. This is a 3-board, single-ended B22 set to a gain of 5 which is just about perfect. It is a 2-Box unit with the power supply separate from the amp. It is dead quiet at idle and functions flawlessly. Detail in spades and bass to write home about. The reputation of these amps speaks for itself and is entirely justified - simply one of the best SS headphone amps available, built by a pro. This is built into a large enough case to expand to a 4-board balanced version if you eventually want to run balanced. You could pay Stephen at Rockhopper to do the upgrade, or DIY it if you are capable. It has a single pair of RCA inputs. The gain may also be changed.

This is an outstanding amp in every respect. If you've been looking for one this is a great opportunity to get a professionally built version. As you can see from the pics the face is clean and austere. Nice aluminum cases and the unique, Rockhopper orange LEDs. There's plenty of input here and on other headphone forums on this great amp.

Ships with power umbilical and power supply cable. Will ship straight to you within one business day of receiving payment via Paypal. Will ship impeccably packed and fully insured. You pay any PayPal fees if payment not sent as gift. I will get you a quote on shipping and ship straight to you as soon as payment clears! Can pick up in the central Texas area.

Has anything changed with this amp since your purchase of it? :

Nothing has changed. Please note that when I bought it at that price, I paid quite a bit for shipping on top of that, and my offer here includes shipping. This adds about $300 to the amp right there. And unfortunately the gentleman that sold it to me had to have emergency surgery and was forced to sell below even the manufacturing cost of the amp. In the mean time, I have purchased up several high-end amps to ensure this amp's supreme quality via comparison, and am listing it at a great price! Make an offer! I am flexible.

So what about the "new price as of 11-22-11 will be $975, shipped via insured UPS Ground to CONUS only," in the original sale?

To be very clear here, this very amp was sold to me at the above listed price, but did NOT include shipping in the final deal. It was shipped fully insured via two shipments, the power supply + amp, and cost me quite a bit on top of the sale of the amp. My listing here includes shipping, hence the increase in price, which is a bargain to begin with. Fees are negotiable. Make an offer and let's work something out. This is a great deal!

You got it! My apologies on the slow response. I didn't see it for a while and then I was out of town over the weekend.

Tip-to-tip the umbilical weighs in at 70-inches.

The amp is in flawless condition front-to-back.

Hi!

Because I have too many top-flight amps in my collection. I would love to keep it, I love this thing. Right now I am using my Cavalli Audio Liquid Fire the most.

Hi there.  I am going to be in Austin on business later this month.  What would the price be without shipping?  Thanks.
