VentureCraft new DDC/DAC Go-DAP DD Socket 1 product - Page 19

I purchased my LE OPA627SM directly from VenturCraft by using the support email.  They were very helpful and it was an easy purchase using PayPal. BTW, I love my Socket LE - having owned an original CLAS SOLO, I much prefer the Socket's sound signature!

Buying the LE was quite easy for me as well. I just shot an email over to Dimitri @ musicaacoustics and he sent it straight away. Like Anak said, acquiring the 627SM is not ideal unless you buy that version, but swapping regular op amps is quite easy and quick. After A/Bing the MUSES02 and 275, I much prefer the MUSES for the clarity and upper range detail. It pairs well with my 8.A and I hope (fingers-crossed) the Pico Power. Question: From those that have heard both MUSES01 and MUSES02, can you break down the differences in your opinion for me? I'm thinking about picking up the MUSES01 after reading rudi's post (damn you rudi tongue_smile.gif) about how they synergize well with IEMs.

Hi Greed

Muse 01 is reality good for iems and is not good for your wallet biggrin.gif

I have all the op amps for my dd1 blue 9 volt version
Muse 01 , muse 02 , LME 49860 , 627 standard version

And latest is my dd1 LE with op amp 627 SM metal edition

I recommend only these 3 op amps no more biggrin.gif

I am thinking of getting the 12 V Op275 from Dimitir and swap the opamp to the MUSES01 and sell my 9 V, do you guys think the added 3V makes a huge audible difference? Thanks.

My thoughts are the the Muses01 would make a bigger impact than the added 3V. The added voltage is a mere bonus of added "cleanup" - at least when comparing the OPA627AU 9V with the OPA627SM 12V.

But the Muses01/02 are different and am improvement (to my ears) than the OP275.

I am definitely keeping the muse01, I just saw dimitri selling the 12 V edition of the OPA275 for a good price and I was thinking since of purchasing one and just swap the 12 volt version opa275 with my muses01 and sell the 9v as a regular OPA275. I was just not sure how much of an improvement I would hear due to the added extra 3 V. is it going to make a huge difference?

Huge is kinda subjective and depending at what cost. But I have the personality that if i had heard something that sounded "better" to my ears, I've gotta have it - a major curse to my wallet.

That is a fair point.

Yeah, I just got Socket 1 LE too but this is the upgrade version of Go-Dap X. I bet that it's gonna cost 2x of Go-Dap X.

Thanks mate for keeping us updated. Can you please provide us the link for the product I cant find it.

Product page link : http://venturecraft.jp/gadget_jp/category.php?category_id=9

PS: I guess this is why they did not implement the DAC feature on the DD socket 1.

Indeed, good find. Definitely makes me curious. I'm sure we can count on AnakChan to demo the unit so we can get some impressions! biggrin.gif
