Continental v2 and v3 are also nice but both of them hiss like crazy with my 335.

Very true, unfortunately I haven't heard the 335, so I can't comment. But I love it with both my Heir 4.A and 8.A. Very nice setup and pictures though! smily_headphones1.gif

The muses01 has much better bass, not much on bass impact though.mids are okay and treble is really clear. Pairs with the mk2 really well. But then I only have my headroom micro amp to compare it with. I guess it all depends on your whole setup...like what amp and headphones you're using in the setup.my zu mobius comes in next week Wednesday, I'm curious to see if it'll change the sound signature a bit...

Thanks for the impressions. I've found the Rx II to give quite a bit of impact and weight to the bass, so hopefully the clarity the MUSES op amps give will be a great pairing. Very excited to get mine!

Just saw this one on VentureCraft site. Really want to try but I probably can't use it with my current setting. 12V is way too high for my very sensitive MH335DW. The price for OPA627SM (metal cap) is the same as solo -db. The standard version is about 10000 yen more expensive.

I wish they offered this color with the original DD Socket 1. rolleyes.gif

Good find, I wonder if I can send mine to have it upgraded to this. I think the reason why the 12 V is needed because OPA627 needs such power, I dont think it will make it sound louder than the 9V.

Wow, that looks so much nicer than electric blue.

Ah, that's my mistake. I though that 12 V is the output not supply voltage. I also made a mistake about the price. It's 20000 yen increase from the same OpAmp model. They also increase the capacity of the battery from 2200 mAh to 3200 mAh.

So tempted, I will email them. It took me a few weeks to get used to my gear. I would love to buy the battery alone at very least. So 20 000 JPY from the OPA 627? It sounds fair considering how expensive the 627s metal caps are if it is from the stock OPA275.

Nope. The metal cap version is 40000 yen more than their OPA627AU based model.

1. Go-Dap DD Limited 12V (OpAmp:OP275)
2. Go-Dap DD Limited 12V (OpAmp:MUSES01)
3. Go-Dap DD Limited 12V (OpAmp:MUSES02)
4. Go-Dap DD Limited 12V (OpAmp:OPA627AU)
5. Go-Dap DD Limited 12V (OpAmp:OPA627SM)

Those 1-4 are available in 9V models and 12V version cost about 20000 yen more. The OPA627SM is 79800 yen. That's almost 40000 yen more from OPA627AU model.

Ouch, I am out, thank for the information. Part of me just would love to try this paired with portaphile 627X. It will truly a reference level portable gear, OPA627 goodness.

I hope that AnakChan can get a hand on this baby and get us some of his impression between 9V and 12V models.

It seems to have gain selection as well. I think he already had a listen to this before and was impressed with it.

I should have waited :D

More picture goodness of this new beasts. It seems like the are using a thicker casing.

I want the transparent version. biggrin.gif

The thicker case is need because OPA627SM won't be able to fit in the original height.

I think it's safe for me to put pix of the prototype now. Sorry, had to hold back before but to be honest nothing flash since you guys have the final prod pictures anyway.

My A/B time with the metal cap 627 was 7 weeks ago (and I don't even know which metal cap version!) so I daren't comment what I heard as I didn't write down live notes. Therefore I'm hoping I can demo the 12V again properly.

Sorry, wish I had more info on this post to keep the thread juicy.
