Best 2.1 Speakers that is sleek/small

Hope to get some help on getting a high quality sound system that is small/sleek with clear sound.  Base is not important so no need for a lot of power but clarity would be important.  This is for my father in law.  Price range is 150-300. Thanks!

Well, maybe not as small as you'd like, but hey, why not kick ass with bass!

Cerwin Vega XD3. Crystal clear voice work with a very balanced sound at any volume level. Distorts a bit if played too loud. Fantastic for nearfield listening a foot or less away from ones sitting position-

Swan M50W would have been a great choice but there sold out now suppose to be back in December.  The cheaper Swan M10 would also be a good choice since you don't need alot of bass and looking for clarity in a small form factor and it is very sleek looking imo.

If your more into Clarity then bass, don't get a 2.1 setup, skip the sub-woofer, just get the best 2.0 setup.

Agreed.

Swan M200MkII would be a great choice. Have a classy look to them, and they've gotten excellent reviews on the Web. They do have a larger 5" driver, but that's one reason why they sound very good.
