Headphone Amp & DAC

Hello,

 

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on which headphone amp / DAC  to purchase in order to push a pair of AKG Q701s nicely. I would like to spend under $250 if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I have an Audio-gd NFB-5.2 which is a nice unit, but a bit above your specified budget. The Audio-gd range seems to offer good performance to price ratio though and they have DAC/amp models within your budget so maybe check them out (audio-gd.com). Unfortunately, I can't specifically recommend a model from experience that fits in your budget.
