Earrings..Guys??

So, my 17th birthday was yesterday, and I've been contemplating getting both my ears pierced as a gift to myself. Anyway, what do you all think about piercings on guys. BTW, I am straight, as I get asked that whenever I ask this question.

I live in the Bay Area of California where guys with pierced ears don't even raise an eyebrow, unless they're extreme gauges. If you like the look and have some nice ear jewelry, go for it.

It's pretty normal nowadays. I don't even notice it.

I had mine pierced in high school because I thought I was a rocker. Don't wear them anymore, but I still don't see anything wrong with it. Go for it.

Pierced my left ear about 15 years ago, I've worn a variety of studs and small hoops. Right now I have an Emerald.

Ah, nice! I'm planning on getting both ears pierced, however. But cool, will look into emeralds and other "luxury" jewels.
