Any sound preferences, any opinions on comfort, isolation, where/when/how you'll be using them, the music you listen to? Have you read here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-104-portable-headphones-reviewed-klipsch-image-one-added-10-02-12i
I had the SRH840s, very clear sound, good tonality. The KRKs are mighty impressive sounding as well. Didn't like the TMA-1s, way too dark. You might like them though.
Rap, and rock, are either of the KRK's or the 840's better than m50's?
"Better" is pretty subjective. My 840s rolled off a bit both ways, but clarity was good and I liked the tonality more than the M50s. KRKs were just impressive through and through.
Another thread on this that might help: http://www.head-fi.org/t/590906/krk-kns-8400-vs-sure-srh840-vs-audio-technica-m50s
Also tons of comparisons on the big 8400 thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/570501/the-krk-kns-8400-you-can-have-it-all
the TMA 1 is absolutely horrible, no idea why its not burned here
anyway how much bass do you want? do you like gentle bass, whack you bass or through the roof bass?
just normal haha, would you reccomend me buy the KRK or the shures?
well i havn't heared the KRK's before but i know that the Shures have about right bass, not powerful, but not weak either, their detail is good too, their signature is on the bright side with prominent treble, i think these will do pretty well with rock, rap im not sure shure about that lol, well i suppose it should be pretty good too
