Thanks, but just because I don't need to, I might want to........;)

BTW, I have a HiFi-M8 and I'll let you know how they sound together.

Can anybody recommend a carry case the TH600s? The Audeze pelican case I've seen recommended for the TH900s might be too heavy weight for daily use (e.g. throwing into a backpack)

Would any of the Shure/Beyer travel cases with the foam liner likely work?

I would recommend the Slappa hardcase

Do you think (Slappa Full Sized HardBody PRO Headphone Case (SL-HP-07) will work for TH900 ?

I have the same case, currently being used for my HD650s.  But I plan on also using it for my new TH600s.  Its perfect for backpacks and messenger bags, and it can take a whack...

An update on my quest for the right match for the TH600s - I've tried with them the Centrance M8s and still find them way too bright.

I have to admit I do not understand the love these headphones get.   Their bass isnt anything special, and their highs are very fatiguing - just short of being completely unbearable.

Time to sell them.

Are the pads good enough on the 600's or angled type pads a must ?

The stock pads are actually angled.

Not sure TH900 is same as Th600 but,

Front depth is about 1cm

Rear depth is about 2cm
