a closed audez'e phone.
what some of us have been waiting for... ![]()
I WANT IT!!!!!!! >:( Jude, SQ-wise, did it sound like the LCD-2 (rev2) or the LCD-3? Maybe you'll have to do another episode of Head-Fi TV after this RMAF :)
Are these the ones that were on top of that cake?
Audeze has just fixed the problems with their current line and now want to release another can?
It'd better be solid when released or that's 3 strikes.
Huh? My LCD-2 Rev 2 were just fine...
I think Morbid means there had to be a revision because the rev1s weren't quite up to snuff. And the LCD-1 never got a widespread release, I guess that's his strike one?
+1!

HiFiMan had some growing pains as well. Eventually everything got straightened out. I guess the lesson with planar-magnetic 'phones is "Don't be an early adopter".
Looks nice but very heavy. This is already a hp that shoots itself in the foot by virtue of it's weight despite being a wonderful sounding hp.
Rev 1 drivers, rev 1 & 2 cracking wood, 3 drivers (heck I didn't even consider the LCD 1). There's been a lot of problems and while they have top notch service that's not exactly a great pedigree.
I loved my rev 2, and I'm hoping this closed model does really well...I just want them to be sure it's ready for prime time this go round.
A good motivation for going to the gym and build those neck muscles :)
oooooooh
Wow these look awesome.
