I am posting an interest check for selling a mint condition Cavalli Audio Liquid Fire amp and Audeze LCD-3 combo. Arguably, the best (planar/ortho/dynamic) headphone and amp combination available now!
I purchased the Liquid Fire amp (serial number #00050) from Aphrodite Cu29 (dealer of Cavalli Audio) on January 24, 2012. Since owning the Liquid Fire, I replaced the stock JJ tubes with Siemens E88CC, matched quads.
I am also the original owner of the Audeze LCD-3, which is the RMA'd (non-veiled) version, received in May, 2012.
The Liquid Fire amp and LCD-3 headphones are in perfect condition. They have always been covered when not in use, and have only been used in a smoke and pet free environment.
What would be included in this sale:
- Cavalli Liquid Fire Amp;
- Upgraded Siemens E88CC Matched Quad Tubes;
- Stock JJs Matched Quad;
- Dust Cover;
- Burn In Adapter (for new tubes);
- Original Manual, Packaging, etc.;
- Audeze LCD-3;
- Q Cable - Black, 1.5 Meter (4.92 Feet) 1/4" single ended;
- Original Wooden Box;
- Original Audeze Cables, one balanced and one single-ended;
- Original Manual, Packaging, etc.
Everything listed above, if purchased brand new, total more than $5,700, but I am asking $4,000, shipped, for these mint condition items. Fully insured shipping (within the continental U.S.) in two boxes would be included in the sale price, but PayPal fees are not. PayPal payment would be sent as gift, or add 3% extra when sending payment. I am not yet sure whether I want to sell outside of the U.S.
For now, I am only interested in seeing if I can sell everything together, and not piecemeal.
I do not sell on Head-Fi often, so I don't have any trader feedback, but I do sell under the eBay name hhltech, if you need some sort of reference. I am also more than willing to provide my cell phone number (or communicate through videoconference), if that helps ease any concerns.
Please PM if interested.
Finally, my reason for selling these items is that I just recently bought an Cavalli LL + Stax SR-009 combo, and I can't justify owning both headphone systems, so one has to go.
