I won these and opened them to check them out briefly for an hour, I've bought a pair of DT1350s though and need to recoup the funds from these. More info on them can be found here.
It's lucky I did check them out before listing them, as they were manufactured pretty early on with faulty glue on the around-ear PU foam pads. I superglued them back together as a temporary measure to test them and emailed AIAIAI, who sent me a brand new pair of pads, acknowledging that the glue on early units had failed to cure properly. These new pads have not been used by myself, only the glued pads have, so you are getting a brand new pair of headphones with the box, carry case, 3.5mm-6.3mm adapter and the two different sets of pads (PU foam and protein leather) as well as the other glued pads if you want them.
I should point out that these are the microphone-less version - that is, they do not include the iPhone cable, just the coiled cable with locking connector at the headphone end and threaded right-angled 3.5mm plug at the other end. However, I have made them a shorter cable from Toxic Cables UPOCC Cryo-treated Copper (see link in post 2) for them to be used more easily out and about with. It is just over a metre long, with a 4 conductor round braid sleeved in lovely flexible nylon multifilament (in black to match the all-black headphones) and straight 3.5mm plugs at both ends. The top plug is sprayed satin black to match the headphones and the bottom plug is a nice brushed chrome finish I created myself with garnet paper followed by t-cut + scouring pad (brushed finish idea courtesy of cogsand gears). There is a tiny patch of silver on the gold plate of the brushed plug where unfortunately a little solder dripped onto the jack, this can be seen in the photo.
The price for the headphones with the cable is £200, £180 + £10 for Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery and PayPal fees, £180 DELIVERED.
