This is due to the original shot being re-cropped.

We can't have things too arousing.

Just strangely so.

It's Trix, not Twix, you Twi-hard. :p

EDIT: Twi-hard works better than twit.

I stand by what I said.

Only the most youthful digestive tracts can stomach that much nougat. Cats need not apply.

Are you or is anyone else around here an expert on ancient or medieval religious/mythological symbols? Symbols as in little graphics, not symbols as in symbolism. I'm looking for one that represents passion, yearning, and romance. Add some melodrama, poetic poignancy, and maybe even some tragedy to it. Preferably a graphically simplistic one that can be turned into a nice logo. Any ideas?

I'm no expert. I just have been doing basic Google image searches, with terms like occult, occult figures, pagan symbols, etc.

One site that came up in that last search might be helpful to you....http://www.ancient-symbols.com/pagan_symbols.html

Oh, I've been here from time to time (two times..?) ;)

How are you doing? I'm finally crawling back up to life again. I've been away from work for a while, and it's been good for me and my health. I'll have a meeting with them next week about my future over there and I'm hoping they'll want me back (they said so in an email yesterday, but you never know with people, they can say one thing in an email and another in real life), but more on "my terms" so to say, as in 50% for a week or two and then back to normal. I'm starting to feel ready to work instead of rot away in the couch, but babysteps is the key here. I've also gotten used to the new meds, and they're helping a whole lot. Other than that, new gadgets and wristwatches and bags and stuff - the family's doing fine and so..

I'm pretty sure they'll want you back, you lasted the longest.  The last three guys that had to fix that DB went completely out of their minds within days!  :D  Plus, hehe, it sounds like you're getting bored out of your mind at home.  I know the feeling, I would.  BTW, still got a samurai chicken avatar for ya... for when you're ready to kick ass and take names!

No need for the Milk Cartons, I saw warrenpchi last night! A wonderful meeting as usual. A quarter moon or so, there was chat about him being unseen, unheard from and dare to say potentially stressed out, kicked out!

If his posture was any indication, he looked more relaxed than those on holiday. Thanks for having me out, warrenpchi.

:beerchug:

Haha, I haven't been THAT absent!  Okay, maybe I have.  :o  But it was all for a good cause I assure you!  Thanks for getting me out brother, it was a much needed change of pace, and scenery.   And hit me up when you're ready for that thing!

LOL!  :D

Okay guys, it's the final stretch, so I'm going to switch over to the CanJam avatar for a bit.  Once I get back, I'll alternate Occult and Obobs.  Heck, I should find a way to blend the two!

You have to update your signature to reflect October's theme

Next year, we could always do "Silent September" and rock avatars void of any colour, graphic or symbolism.

What silence said - Copy.JPG

Leaving Head-Fi in a 30 day wake of gossip, intrigue, speculation and scandal.

There won't be a next year - we'll all be dead after December 21.

I mean haven't you watched the news?

Well, I certainly hope there's a next year, at least for TMAC. Where else can I be my completely random self and not draw awkward stares? (Well, maybe you all do stare, but I can't see you, so it's all good).

When I was a kid, in France, Twix was called Raider.

Well it certainly couldn't cut the cheese.

This might help.

What is that thing? Does it have any functional purpose, or is it just something to wear for show?
