You mean your Holy Guardian Angel? Feed it gummi bears, they love those.

More Progressive Metal, in an occult flavor, Emergence by Arc of the Aurora is particularly good. It's Yes, Floyd, and tool in a groovy sonic orgy of goodness.

Yeah - sorry - I was mixing-up my non-corporeal entities. It really is a good thing they are ethereal, otherwise it would be getting pretty crowded around here...

It's by artist Richard Quinn. It isn't really famous, but it has been reproduced for quite a few posters and prints (and book covers).

Aha, I had the strangest feeling I'd seen it before somewhere.  Cool that you have the original BTW.  Is it big?

I love that last sentence.

As will I.

It's pretty big, probably about 4' square. What's funny is, we may own the painting, but he still has the copyright to the image. lol

So basically you don't own **** lol ;).

I have the original canvas and pigments, and can do whatever I want to it (even show it if I want, like at a museum), but I can't reproduce it and sell copies. It's like photography, having the original negative doesn't mean a lot if you didn't also buy the rights to it (you can't even legally get them developed without the photographer's permission). At least quality paintings appreciate in value, and in this case it looks pretty.

Well I'm pretty sure you didn't buy it based on the value appreciating and more so for the aesthetics part of it? Then again if the painter became very famous then that is a huge plus on value :).

Last 20, I was perusing Google Images of Japanese Tea Tables. Traditional, Modern and...... this popped up!

Clearly, it's time for me to go to bed.

Wow...just...wow.

That's what happens when you turn SafeSearch off while searching for Japanese tea tables, I guess. :D

I wonder what would happen if I simply googled "Hot babe eaten by plush shark chair". Perhaps some nice tea recommendations.

It turns up bizarre results. Some girl diagnosed with a brain parasite is the first hit.

One of my first result was to the lawyer's section of the GNU project. Figures ;)

(If you get the context, the GNU thing is actually hilarious in so many ways)

I just know that Richard Stallman is...eccentric. There's a good word for it.

I'm assuming you're making a joke because I didn't get anything like that in my results.
